The Bonitron M3452-U1600CT10-R7E is a heavy-duty dynamic braking transistor engineered for high-power 575–600 VAC variable frequency drive systems. Designed for applications that produce substantial regenerative energy, this 2015 HP peak configuration monitors the VFD DC bus and diverts excess energy through an external braking resistor to help prevent overvoltage trips and improve controlled stopping. The T10 chassis supports 1600 A peak and 1200 A RMS braking current at a 75% duty cycle, with a 940 VDC braking setpoint and 0.58-ohm minimum resistance.
