The Bonitron M3452-C1600T10-R7E is a heavy-duty braking transistor designed for large 575–600 VAC variable frequency drive systems that require high-current regenerative braking. This T10 configuration uses 575–600 VAC control power and monitors the VFD DC bus for rising voltage caused by deceleration or overhauling loads. When braking is required, the unit switches excess regenerative energy to an external braking resistor, helping reduce DC bus overvoltage faults and improve controlled stopping. Rated for 1600 A peak and 1200 A RMS braking current, the M3452-C1600T10-R7E supports a 940 VDC braking setpoint, 75% duty cycle, and 0.58-ohm minimum resistance. The R7E control option adds extended hardwired I/O for additional status monitoring and system integration.
